Hello friends, how are you doing? I hope you are physically and mentally healthy. On this occasion, I will share my experience in joining the independent learning program of Campus Merdeka.
With this program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, it is very beneficial for students to gain experience such as making new friends, learning from external lecturers, and receiving rewards in the form of a stipend… hehehe. Oh yeah, let's get back to the topic. By joining this program, you can be more active in seeking information related to your courses, or if there are friends who want to share information about the Campus Merdeka Learning Program or other trainings, you can directly join them. Next, you should know that in registering for this program, you need to prepare your experience (certificates) of organizing activities in campus or community services. Then, you should choose courses that are in line with your major in your campus, and complete all administrative requirements listed on the website (MANDATORY!).
Tips for joining the independent learning program of Campus Merdeka are actually very simple, such as:
- Expand your network
When you are in a new environment, try to make as many friends as possible. Having many friends is very important; you can exchange ideas, and help each other in your studies. With these two elements, your studies will be more exciting.
- Time management
Surely, joining this program requires a lot of time, especially when you also attend courses in your own campus and outside. You should be prepared for the responsibilities and manage your time well; decide which time is for studying and which time is for leisure.
- Confidence
This point is very crucial. Share what you understand best, even if others think it's wrong. At least, you can provide your own perspective, and if you make a mistake, just take it as a learning experience for the future. Always be optimistic. Surely, people who think positively and have confidence will become successful in the future.
- Pray to the Almighty God
This last point is important; always pray to God and ask for His blessings. When praying, don't ask for strange things, just ask for His permission to always provide you with a good path so you can achieve what you want. Pray at any time to calm your mind.
