Hi Friends of SIFORS, I hope everyone has a good day! Let me introduce myself, my name is Ni Komang Winda Damayanti, who is often called Winda. I am a student of the 2018 Information Systems study program. On this occasion I will share a few tips and my experiences so that all of my friends, especially Sifors, remain enthusiastic until the end while studying at Universitaas Pendidikan Ganesha.

The first time being a student and of course the first batch of students is not easy to live. There's a lot to learn and a lot to ask. The good thing during the journey of seeking a degree we are always given input, direction, and taught how to start a job. Maybe in this article there are not many tips and experiences that I can share, but to stay motivated until the end, of course, all of you must have goals or goals why you started this. I personally have a goal of “Seeking a lot of experience and being able to graduate on time”. Give up? Of course the feeling of wanting to give up has always been inside me, but when I remember my goals or goals at the beginning, I can always fight the feeling of being lazy, tired, and wanting to give up. Here are some tips based on my experience that I can share so that friends can stay motivated until the end:

1. Have Goals
   As mentioned earlier, having goals is very important. With clear goals and directions we can determine what steps to take next. With the goals we have, motivation will increase by itself when we start to feel tired and of course a sense of enthusiasm and confidence will be re-embedded in us.
2. Communication
   Communication is very important, especially for friends who are starting their final semester. Before I did my own thesis, I realized that I did not communicate enough about what I was interested in. When the internship was over, I just started communicating with my PA (Academic Supervisor), Mr. Ardwi, about what topic I wanted to take. When I submitted my own topic, I felt really confused, where to start and what to do. From there I ventured to communicate with him further and of course he was always patient and gave me directions that brought me to the topic that I took, namely about usability. Maybe for friends who are still afraid to start, try to communicate so that you can be more confident about what steps you will take.
3. Always Pray and Try
   The next most important thing is to always pray and try. Friend Sifors maybe you have heard "Prayer without effort is a lie and effort without prayer is arrogant". JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!. When you feel that you have tried but are still left behind and what you want has not been fulfilled, believe that God always gives a good story for you. Vice versa if what you want can go as you wish, always remember to say thank you and always be grateful. Pray in every situation whether it's happy, difficult, want a test, want to revise, want an exam, want to graduate, want to send a chat to the lecturer, and do whatever it is as much as possible.

As a student in the middle, two years of offline lectures and two years of online lectures. Passion, Goals, and Prayers became my capital to get to this point and of course the blessing of God, Parents and Lecturers. The bottom line for Sifors is to keep the spirit until the end, don't give up and stop in the middle. Mr and Mrs Lecturers will always help you 😊
