UNDIKSHA bridge athletes again succeeded in winning 2 championship titles at the 2022 Banyuwangi Open Championship. The results achieved were 1st place in the Junior Team Category and 3rd place in the General Team Category. This match was held on Sunday, October 2, 2022. The match which was held at the Banyuwangi Regency Teacher's Building was attended by 12 teams from Bali and several areas from East Java Province. This event was created to strengthen friendship between students/athletes in the East Java - Bali Region. This event is also used by UNDIKSHA athletes, especially Buleleng athletes to prepare teams for the PORPROV Bali XV event and the National Student Bridge Championship in Solo in the future.
Prior to participating in the competition, UKM BRIDGE UNDIKSHA together with GABSI Buleleng regency made a selection for 4 days. Various preparations were made by practicing intensively starting September 20, 2022 to achieve maximum results.
The match system used is the Round Robin Scheme of 10 Rounds where each round plays 6 boards. The total board or board that is played is 60 boards/card board.
